We, Deepki, are looking for a new Legal Counsel in Paris.

Starting date : October 2023

Interview process :  1) 30 minutes with Anouk, Talent Acquisition 2) 1h with Anissa, Head of Legal including a short conversation with Romina, Legal Counsel 3) 30 minutes with Frédéric, CFO

Main responsibilities: 

• Provide legal support to the company's management and business teams in various areas such as commercial contracts, data privacy, intellectual property, and corporate governance
• Review, draft and negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, and suppliers
• Intellectual Property expertise, including trademark management, filing certificates, and logo protection
• Monitor legal and regulatory developments that may impact the company's business and advise on legal compliance matters
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance and manage legal risks
• Manage contract signing processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure legal considerations are integrated into business decisions and initiatives
• Report to and work closely with the Head of Legal

Your profile :

• Law degree
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant legal experience in a law firm or in-house legal department
• Excellent proficiency in French, and fluency in Italian, Spanish, or German would be a plus.
• Strong knowledge of French laws and regulations relevant to the company's business ; knowledge of local Italian, Spanish, or German law would be an advantage
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to simplify legal concepts and effectively translate legal language into operational terms
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
