Who We Need:

To ensure success as an IT Systems Administrator you should have in-depth knowledge of Windows/Linux server configuration, deployment and maintenance, programming skills, and the ability to solve complex IT issues both in a physical and virtual environment. Ultimately, a top-class IT Systems Administrator ensures the smooth running of the company’s networking and server systems, while maintaining a high level of security and user productivity. This position will be responsible for our global collaboration, enterprise and identity systems. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader who is energized by hands on involvement in technology.

What You’ll Do:

  • Administer, maintain, recommend scaling and be responsible for our Internal production and lab environments in both physical and virtual (VMware and Hypervisor) setups
  • Administer a Cloud-based single sign on and have a proactive service health focus (Monitoring, patching, backups)
  • Maintain virtual environment, attached storage and associated networking infrastructure
  • Enterprise Application management of on premise and/or third party hosted solutions
  • Contributes as a technical project resource for global Collaboration, Enterprise and Identity system projects across a mixed Windows and macOS environment (65%/35%)
  • Participates in security incident response processes and activities as appropriate
  • Leverages best practices approach towards projects, implementations, and issue resolution; ability to provide status updates and reports
  • Creates and maintains efficient documentation for IT Standards, Policies, Procedures and KB articles which are consistent with company goals, industry best practices and regulatory requirements
  • Operationalize processes that can be performed by the Operations Team
  • Provides tier-2 & 3 support for domain area as needed

Skills You’ll Need to Have:

  • Five to eight years of experience in a similar hands-on systems administrator role with an in depth understanding of Windows, Linux, macOS, AWS, Azure, Clustering services, Windows Security, VMware, SSO, scripting, Group Policy, WSUS and other Microsoft infrastructure services
  • Experience administering AzureAD, Azure and AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Demonstrated experience administering virtual environments (VMware and Hypervisor) in a highly available environment with SAN and/or NAS configurations
  • Strong management knowledge such as iSCSI, FC and NFS
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and documentations skills
  • Demonstrated experience with network protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, WINS) and network layers (OSI model) as well as an understanding of routing protocols
  • PowerShell scripting experience is preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication abilities
  • JAMF and MobileIron knowledge is a plus
