The Opportunity

Featurespace are now looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and innovative Director of Commercial Operations to join our London office, to help build and maintain a world-class sales organisation inside of Featurespace, across quality reporting, both within the team and more widely across the company.

As Director of Commercial Operations, your role will center around ensuring every stage in the sales cycle is optimised and the sales team are operating in the best possible manner. Your overall success will be measured by the win rate, lead conversion rate, sales team retention, and qualitative feedback from other departments on the quality of reporting. As well an internal focus, you must ensure that the Commercial Organisation is aligned to create, develop, and close opportunities that provide world-class solutions to our customers to help them in the fight against financial crime.

 

Day to Day

  • Create processes and tools to increase efficiency across the Commercial Organisation
  • Identify areas to continuously improve and transform the Commercial Organisation
  • Manage Commercial Operations and Salesforce Admin in implementation of tools and processes to increase efficiency
  • Act as an intermediary between leadership, finance, and cross functional teams when modelling annual headcount planning, bookings targets, and other key annual planning modelling outputs
  • Lead operational planning and design for areas within the commercial team
  • Overall design of the sales processes
  • Board reporting design and creation
  • Define and manage the key performance indicators (KPI's) for the Commercial Organisation
  • Enable a best-in-class sales forecast and pipeline operating cadence
  • Monitoring the overall health status of the pipeline as well as putting processes in place to ensure that the right notifications are made when there is any impact to the health of any part
  • Manage team to ensure that they are producing reports and dashboards that the Commercial Management Team can use to help them manage their subsequent teams
  • Provide guidance to Salesforce Administrator and Commercial Operations Manager on reporting requests
  • Sign off request changes to Salesforce instances
  • Track and query ROI of BD activities
  • Ensure that maximum ROI is achieved by monitoring output and sharing best practise and ideas across territory pods

About You

Must haves:

  • Significant experience in Sales/Commercial Operations in Enterprise Software Sales
  • Experience of working cross-departmentally to drive alignment
  • Superb relationship building skills both internally and externally
  • Experience of driving and delivering change across a Commercial Organisation
  • Excellent stakeholder management, project management, and organisation skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce.com

 

Great to haves:

  • Marketing Automation knowledge
  • Marketing Operations knowledge
