We currently have a great opportunity for experienced Service Manager to join our Vehicle Technology Team at our Limerick HQ. We can also consider candidates located in Ireland who can work 2-3 days in Limerick

 

Responsibilities

  • Management of Service Engineers
  • Manages logistics for Engineer visits to customers
  • Manages case data and improving how they work
  • HR – yearly reviews, holidays etc
  • Management of Service Contractors & growing Business with Service Contractors
  • Work with Service Companies in regions where AMCS do not have Engineers
  • Work closely with Dev and Product on VT issues improvements
  • Review Service Returns
  • Work closely with Support team on VT issues and improvements
  • Acts as Technical Resource for Engineers and Customers
  • Key contact for Customer Escalations
  • Carry’s out Service Meetings with Customers
  • Works closely with the Install Teams to drive Product improvements
  • Works with customers to increase business with AMCS –
  • Having yearly Certifications
  • Upgrading SUT to VDH

 

 

Requirements

  • Service Management and/or Service Contractor Management experience
  • Experience in the waste industry (preferred but not a game changer)
  • Flexible to travel outside of Ireland
  • Good communication skills
  • Great Customer Management skills
  • Proactive, positive, self-starter with a passion for continually improving the processes around you
  • Ability to manage ambiguity and operate effectively, even when things are not defined or the way forward is not certain –makes sound decisions, even in the absence of complete information
  • Ensures accountability – holding self (and others) accountable to meet commitments
  • Ability to successfully plan and prioritize work to meet objectives aligned with organizational goals
  • Ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environment
  • Technical skills around Electronic/Mechanical Hardware
  • Good Excel skills to manage data and reporting
