As a Creative Copywriter at WeTransfer, you’ll work alongside the digital designers in our award-winning in-house Creative Studio to develop pitches, concepts, and assets (e.g. wallpapers) for our advertising clients as well as our own brand and product marketing. You’ll jump from creating an immersive interactive digital experience for a key client to framing the concepts and strategy for a proactive pitch, as well as crafting an engaging overarching narrative for the deck. You’ll write puns, emails, and social content for the WeTransfer marketing team—who will tell you to please stop writing puns. You’ll shape brand stories for our advertising partners, to be shared with millions of creative professionals around the world. You’ll contribute ideas, jokes, and spell-checking to campaigns for WeTransfer, WePresent, Paper, Paste, and Collect. And although you can do it all, we don’t expect you to do it all at once.

Key responsibilities

    • Set the bar for advertising and marketing copywriting at WeTransfer

    • Shape guides and templates for pitches and briefs

    • Partner with sales and marketing stakeholders to create and evolve the advertising narrative

    • Improve processes, tools, and writing standards for the copywriting team to support the sales, marketing, and design teams

    • Spend time with sales directors, account managers, designers, and producers to align with the goals and metrics of key projects

    • Refine and improve the long-term direction of how advertising at WeTransfer evolves

    • Plan, write, and document best practices for conversion and usability, as well as any guidelines and considerations when writing for key clients

    • Shape and contribute to the guidelines and principles for how sales clients advertise on our platform

    • Onboard and train junior copywriters

What we're after:

    • Native-level English

    • Excellent writing

    • Degree in English language or linguistics, journalism, marketing, or similar

    • Proven track record in creating great copy for websites and/or mobile apps for a global audience

    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    • Experience working in a multidisciplinary team

    • Takes ownership (proactive) 

    • Produces high-quality output 

    • Provides useful and actionable feedback 

    • Resilient to fast-paced agency style environment
