Through WePresent, its editorial platform, WeTransfer celebrates and showcases unexpected stories about creativity, uncovering under-the-radar works of art, photography, and music from around the world and exploring the creative processes behind them. Together, WeTransfer and WePresent are highlighting the fascinating chasm between a spark of an idea and the delivery of the final product. We are looking for an editorial coordinator to help us produce these stories on time, on budget and to the highest possible standard.

About the role: 
This role will sit within WePresent, WeTransfer’s editorial division and will focus on driving awareness and audience growth. The key focus will be on understanding how WePresent’s audiences interact with the distribution channels, and on identifying and pursuing opportunities to build relationships with existing readers while acquiring new ones. Working within the editorial team, the Audience Development Manager will also work closely with the company’s Insights & Intelligence, Social Media and Performance teams. This role offers the opportunity to be part of an exciting, fast growing creative storytelling platform catering to a global audience of millions every month. 
 
About you:
Our ideal candidate is someone who has proven experience in driving growth for editorial platforms, with a focus on reader acquisition and project amplification across digital channels including web, social, search and paid. The candidate should be analytically minded with an understanding of the changing media landscape and experience of working with online publishers. They will be solution driven and creatively minded, as well as a great communicator and strategist. We need someone with the skills, experience, ambition and personality to drive the awareness and future growth of the WePresent platform. 

What you’ll do:

    • Implement and manage a roadmap for growth for WePresent readership and awareness.
    • Help develop and deliver the strategic direction of WePresent based on audience insight and research. 
    • Liaise with editorial, insights and performance marketing teams to deliver a robust set of performance metrics.
    • Work with the editorial, social and communications team to formulate strategies for project performance and amplification.
    • Develop and experiment with new content executions in emerging distribution platforms.
    • Identify new growth opportunities and best practices based on emerging digital trends, competitive business intelligence, and consumer insight and pivot strategies when needed.
    • Apply SEO initiatives and best practices to the content strategy that will strengthen and optimize both website and keyword rankings.

What you’ll need:

    • You have 5+ years experience in a similar role. 
    • You have an in-depth understanding of analytics and data streams relating to editorial content and a track record of growing digital audiences.
    • You have knowledge and experience of performance marketing, social media, SEO and retention. 
    • You know your way around Google Analytics, Data Studio and AdWords, Facebook Business Manager and Audience Insights, and can translate insights into dashboards that provide learnings for internal teams and partners.
    • You know how to turn objectives into measurable KPIs and have campaign management experience using Google and social network advertising, and content distribution networks.
    • You are familiar with the dynamics and operations of editorial teams.
    • You have strong and effective communication skills and are a critical thinker. 
    • You are a self-starter and can work independently.
    • You are a true team player, have an enthusiastic yet pragmatic attitude and a flexible mindset.
    • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
    • Bonus! You have knowledge of subscription based businesses and platforms.
