Job Description

Here at Nexthink, we are looking for a Backend Engineer to join our User Management team.
Main Functions:
- You will play a very important role in developing the next generation user management to help Nexthink stay on the leading edge of the digital employee experience.
- You will build the Access Rights Management module on AWS integrating with Okta
- You will build distributed cloud-native applications using a modern open-source technology stack.
- You will participate in all stages of software development and collaborate with different teams.

Qualifications
- Microservices and containers experience
- Solid knowledge of core Java (including v8) features such as streams and lambda
- Experience with both relational (Postgres) and NoSQL datastores
- Familiar with Jenkins, Git, Gradle, and provisioning tools (e.g. Ansible).
- Experience working in an Agile environment, excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Professional-level English spoken and written
- B.S. or Master in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Valued optional experience
- Experience with OAuth, JWT, Okta, SAML is a big plus
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Kafka, ClickHouse, GraphQL, Micronaut, AWS, and New Relic (or similar) is a plus
- Front-end development is a big plus (React/TypeScript)
