Malwarebytes is looking for..

A Software QA Engineer for Performance Test Group who will partner with rest of engineering teams to identify test dependencies, risks, estimate remaining work, and generally improve the last mile craft on load and stress tests. You’ll be a passionate catalyst for Quality that results from customer inputs, team’s iteration and retrospectives. You’ll balance the competing demands between adding new capabilities and paying down technical debt to ensure our long term goals are not at risk as we deliver code with best quality. Everything is secondary to the customer experience, we expect you to have a keen sense of how your tests and test code will impact the experience in terms of product performance, high availability and usability.

 

What You'll Do:

• Work with various Product Management, QA and Development teams to refine, add and automate performance test cases on new and existing products

• Execute test cases and replicate customer issues
• Uncover, document and track compatibility and performance defects
• Collaborate in designing and building dashboard for performance results using Microsoft Power BI and SQL
• Work in an agile development environment, collaborating with the engineering teams to deliver quality software iteratively
• Be an integral part of the team while continuously participating in improving process and test methodologies, execution efficiency and effectiveness
• Create new performance test framework for android, iOS, and Mac products

 

Skills You’ll Need to Have:

• The ideal candidate demonstrates a deep understanding and hands on experience on Security technologies with 5+ years of quality engineering experience

• Test Desktop Application performance, load, scalability / capacity, networks and infrastructure
• Define and develop test strategies and plans
• Test Case Automation experience and the development of automated performance test solutions for feature, systems and solutions testing
• Coding experience in Perl, Python and/or other scripting languages is a must
• Strong test automation development skills, tools and framework knowledge (Azure DevOps/Pipelines)
• Knowledge and experience of relational databases and SQL
• Strong understanding of system level testing on Windows, Mac, and GNU/Linux
• Experience at working in Cloud environments like AWS, Azure and container technologies like docker, Kubernetes
• Experience in SaaS technology environment
• Experience in mobile (Android/iOS) testing
• Good understanding of Linux fundamentals and experience working in Unix/Linux environments
• Experience testing a cloud-based management solution. Experience with GUI automation tools a plus
