Who We Need:

  • 10 - 15+ years of leadership in Product Management, Product Marketing, General Management, or other related functions
  • Relevant experience with the following technologies: SaaS, endpoint security, information security solutions, managed security services (Nice to have MDR, XDR, and EDR experience)
  • Understanding of customer segmentation and user personas across consumer security, and InfoSec in SOHO, midsize and SMB markets
  • Expertise in defining security market problems, defining distinctive competencies and market definitions, and strategically driving both consumer and corporate business plans, strategies, and product portfolios
  • Experience creating product positioning, pricing and packaging strategy, customer and prospect research, and analyst relationships
  • Data-driven decision making and strategic thinking
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and being results-driven
  • Able to recruit, mentor, and grow a high-performing team
  • Strong executive presence and able to communicate effectively to customers, analysts, executives, and partners
  • Understanding of technology trends in cybersecurity, SaaS, endpoint protection and endpoint detection and response markets, and personal cyber privacy and security
  • Support of the following cross functional areas:
    • Market research and market mapping
    • Product positioning
    • Competitive analysis
    • Analyst relations
    • Product Customer Advisory Boards
    • Thought leadership and evangelism
    • Able to craft effective storylines and keynotes to articulate product value proposition to various audiences


What You’ll Do:

Lead your team to:

  • Set a winning business strategy for our target market segments, with plans that leverage market opportunity, Malwarebytes’ distinctive competence, and deep customer and market insight.
  • Drive the product and solution plans, per segment, from the “left side of the Pragmatic Framework.”
  • Discover problems in the market by interviewing customers, recent evals and untapped potential customers
  • Validate urgent problems to show their pervasiveness in the market
  • Identify, articulate and leverage the organization’s unique abilities to deliver value to the market
  • Articulate what you learned in the market and quantify the opportunity, including a financial model
  • Work with design and product teams to translate market strategies to product and solution requirements.
  • Make go/no go recommendation based on the data
  • Establish solution offerings, bundles, product tiering, pricing models, schedules, guidelines, procedures and other pricing parameters
  • Determine most effective way to deliver a complete solution to the market (build, buy, or partner)
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to determine how well the solution offering is performing in the market, how it impacts the company operations and how it ultimately contributes to profit


Skills You'll Need to Have:

  • Great communication
  • Lead-by-example and represent Malwarebytes’s core tenets
  • A Bachelor’s degree. A Masters in Business Administration is nice to have
  • Experience with Pragmatic Marketing, Jobs To Be Done, and Design Thinking frameworks a major plus
