The Manager of Strategy & Insights is a people management role reporting to the Global Director of Strategy & Insights. While this role carries direct line management responsibilities for the EMEA team, Strategy & Insights is a global department and the role will require close collaboration across our international teams.

The Strategy & Insights Manager will:
  • Directly manage a team of 6-8 Research
    Analysts and Consultants, including hiring, training and nurturing talent on the team.
  • Oversee the development, execution and delivery of custom research projects, ensuring delivery is on time and on target and that deliverables are aligned to clients’ overarching business goals.
  • Help to develop best practices and standards for client management, research protocols, solutions, deliverables and inter-team collaboration/processes.
  • Provide enablement and professional development opportunities for the team, expand their consulting capabilities and expertise.
  • Partner with members of the
    team on commercial strategies, packages, marketing, etc.
  • Collaborate
    closely with team members on client deliverables and client relationships.
  • Represent the team in client-facing meetings and present to internal and external audiences, as needed.
  • Travel (once covid-related concerns have passed) to in-person meetings, including some travel outside of standard office hours (<10%), as needed.
  • Stay up to date on the full range of Brandwatch products and have a solid understanding of API applications (training to be provided) and advanced research methods.
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and broader research trends.
Role Requirements:
  • Commercial research background, including exposure to international consumer insights and social media research.
  • Strong leadership skills with a minimum of 2+ years of direct people management.
  • An engaged member of the Brandwatch employee community who embodies the core Brandwatch values (authentic, bold, creative).
  • Experience with Boolean searches and unstructured data.
  • Technical aptitude for learning new software and conducting both quantitative and qualitative analyses.
  • Strong business writing, editing and communication skills.
  • Strong level of competency in Excel (including formulas, pivot tables & charting), Word and PowerPoint.
