We are looking for a PMO and Reporting Administrator to join our Delivery Operations Team to drive efficiency and ensure the success of our Project Teams in delivering complex customer projects, providing cutting-edge machine learning technology. The role is based in our Cambridge, United Kingdom office where you will work directly with teams in both the USA and UK.

Delivery Operations sit within the wider PMO team who are a collaborative and supportive team of leaders, continually looking for ways to enhance the company and proactively get involved in solving problems. Working with a team that takes pride in providing exceptional customer experience when delivering solutions which have a real business impact, the PMO and Reporting Administrator supports the leadership roles in providing valuable data and information which enables effective decision making across the business. This is a great opportunity to learn how a value-driven PMO organisation works, how to create and drive efficient processes & procedures in a fast paced delivery organisation, how to manipulate and leverage data using SQL or Excel and visualise it with tools like PowerBI and Tableau to create insightful dashboards, and Core Project Management principles, project governance & how to influence change.

 

Day to Day

  • Creating and maintaining a suite of reports and/or dashboards, both manually and in Power BI, to be used to provide the whole organisation with key information about project delivery
    • Create business reports that provide insight into key data points as requested by delivery leadership
    • Understand the underlying data and it’s sources
    • Regularly examine data reports to locate and resolve mistakes throughout
    • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers
  • Support the Delivery Operations Team Lead in ensuring the adherence of all Project Managers to processes, frameworks and policies
  • Administering the processes which drive adherence of the delivery organisation to all financial processes and subsequently supporting the Finance org in ensuring accurate and on time billing
  • Providing day to day support to the Project Accountant to collect and manage all required data for effective budget management and forecasting, including collecting data from project managers and maintaining data sources
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for all Project Management tooling, supporting Project Managers and the wider delivery organisation with using, configuring, and troubleshooting Microsoft Project Online, Power BI, and SharePoint
  • Being a key point of contact for all new starters in ramping up on delivery processes, lifecycle, and ways of working
  • Proactively leading efforts to build and maintain a valuable source of all the PMO Knowledge, including lifecycles, processes, tool support, ways of working, and project and portfolio information
  • Tracking portfolio level risks, issues, dependencies, and actions, ensuring mitigation plans are in place and well communicated
  • Providing support to the Delivery Operations Team Lead in day to day resource management activities required for managing data on the demand pipeline, capacity and internal work management processes
