Senior Freight Executive

Huel has an excellent reputation for the highest standards of care and attention to our customers all around the world. The Logistics & Supply Chain team is critical to our success, and we are now searching for a Senior Freight Executive to join our team.

This role will be based at the heart of our operations in our Global HQ, located in Tring, Hertfordshire and will be working closely with our Demand Planning and Procurement Team, whilst also providing support to the wider Huel Business.

Responsibilities

• Effectively managing the international and national movement of stock for both finished goods and raw materials through our air, sea and land freight forwarding & transport partners to ensure the optimum availability of stock in our manufacturing sites and distribution centres.

• Monitoring operational levels of our partners to the agreed costs and service levels.

• Support the customs clearance of stock into the EU, UK, USA and Asia.

• Providing support to the Operations Team and wider business in their freight movement needs.

• Understanding, responding and communicating the implications of global issues that are having a material and/or cost impact on the flow of goods through our supply chain, i.e. Covid-19

• Involvement in project teams to deliver improvements in the supply chain in terms of service, reduced impact on the environment and the removal of costs.
