Wolt is a Finnish technology company and we’re best known for our food delivery platform. On our mobile app or website, customers can order their favorite meals from our restaurant partners and either pick their order up or have it delivered by our courier partners.
A few years ago, Wolt operated in 4 countries and 10 cities across the Nordics. Fast forward to today, we’re in 23 countries and over 100+ cities, servicing over 10M registered users. Wolt has been growing rapidly in Denmark ever since we entered the market in 2017, and we now partner with more than 1,600 restaurants across 11 cities.
For Wolt, everything starts with restaurants. If there are no restaurants, there are no customers and if there are no customers, there are no couriers. Thus, restaurant operations are a crucial part of Wolt’s success in every city and country. Until recently, our restaurant operation was split into three sections; acquisition, onboarding, and support. We recently introduced development to the mix and hence this is your chance to join one of our newest teams and be a part of shaping how we develop our existing partners on Wolt.
Your job starts when the restaurant has been onboarded to Wolt’s platform. As an Account Manager, you’re responsible for managing and developing your portfolio of several hundred restaurants in Denmark, generating more than 200 million DKK per year. We’re looking for someone with a genuine passion for establishing relationships and improving key business metrics to create results for Wolt, the restaurants, and ultimately the customers. In doing that, you need to have good problem-solving skills, commercial flair, a strong passion to deliver exceptional service, and the ability to adapt the tone to suit both the restaurant owner and the chef. Preferably you have previous experience in negotiating commercial terms on a B2B level and making decisions based on data, and are now looking to further develop your skills in the fast-moving startup scene.
What you’ll be doing
Owning the overall restaurant relationships after they have been signed and onboarded to Wolt.
Driving revenue growth of Wolt and restaurant partners in your portfolio by improving venue performance through data driven consultation.
Establishing a good relationship with the partners and doing quality and satisfaction checks.
Identifying the focus area in your portfolio and investing into high-potential partnerships.
Re-negotiation general terms and conditions with restaurant partners.
Negotiating marketing campaigns and other initiatives to grow revenue.
Working closely together with the marketing team to plan and execute campaigns together with restaurant partners.
Getting your hands dirty: we’re developing a lot from scratch and this is a brand new role. Your responsibility is to bring structure and help us to shape how we support our partners.
