Due to Covid-19, we are currently on a hybrid in-office/working from home plan. Our in-person work is conducted safely, with social distancing and mask rules, limitations on the number of employees allowed in the office at any given time, and hand sanitizer and disinfectant widely available. This role is available immediately.

As our HR Manager, you play a vital role in all people’s related processes: boosting company culture & people’s growth, ensuring a great employee experience, and enabling managers to coach and lead productive teams. Your tasks would include:

  • Leading the HR & Office team operationally 
  • Partnering with hiring managers and manage, drive and own full cycle recruiting across the board
  • Driving our employer branding strategy to attract new talent with diverse backgrounds and fostering an inclusive workplace culture 
  • Bridging management and employee relations by addressing individual- and team needs by providing a positive and professional experience for candidates and employees
  • Managing projects on topics such as compensation & benefits, talent management & career journeys, feedback, candidate & employee experience
  • Preparing documents for monthly payroll 
  • Successfully completed a degree in economics, psychology, communications or a similar field
  • Previous work experience in HR admin, recruiting and interviewing, preferably in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Leadership experience is a plus 
  • Experience working with an ATS
  • Good understanding of the intricacies of German labor law
  • Strong organisational skills and obsessive eye for detail
  • Ability to work independently and come up with creative solutions
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Driven and resilient with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Empathic with a heart for both design and people
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and German
Our office is centrally located right on the border of Mitte and Kreuzberg. While English is our lingua franca, our international team of 80+ professionals comprises 27 nationalities.
