At Featurespace, our QA Engineers:
- Are independent and proactive.
- Test our cutting-edge product to identify and report issues and defects in software applications.
- Engage with all stakeholders including developers, project managers and product owners to provide feedback and improve and perfect our product.
- Prioritise their workload effectively and keep track of oncoming features and product development.
Our QA Engineers are not:
- Script testers – there are no pre-written cases and design documents to follow.
- Exclusive UI testers.
- And most importantly, you’re an Engineer, you design the test not just execute it.
Day to Day
In your role as QA Engineer you will help us achieve our goals by ensuring we maintain the highest standards of our products.
We are looking for experienced QA Engineers with a keen eye for detail and eagerness to explore and learn new technologies.
- Work with the Engineering team to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of our products.
- Champion quality across all disciplines within Featurespace.
- Participating in high-performance agile development teams focused on continual process improvement.
- Improve team and test process quality.
- Own the quality of features from initial design stage through to completion.
- Reporting and managing defects through to successful resolution.
- Work with the automation team to ensure that we have full coverage of the product.
