Front End Engineer

Modulr are looking for front-end engineers to join our rapidly expanding technology team. You will be part of a scaling business in a high-quality team that is working on new products and features while solving interesting technical challenges. In this role you will work in a cross-functional co-located team who are asked to solve a problem, rather than handed a task to do. Companies are under mounting pressure to manage their cashflow, control their costs, comply with regulations and handle complex supplier, customer and employment payment arrangements. The key tasks of your role will include:

Problem solving, collaboration and knowledge sharing skills are essential. It is important to us that you enjoy communicating in a clear and concise manner and can self-organise. You will consider yourself as someone who adapts positively to changing circumstances, is trusted to deliver, open to learning and is self-aware and self-motivated. You will play a key role in developing our customer-facing payments portal and get the chance to work on new initiatives across multiple teams

• Strong JavaScript (ES6) or TypeScript.
• Angular 2+ (experience using similar frameworks, such as React, Vue.js, will be considered).
• Experience in TDD, writing testable code and unit/integrations tests.
• Good knowledge of HTML and CSS/SASS.
• Experience creating responsive frontend solutions consuming RESTful API's.

About you: To join us as a Front End Engineer, you'll need:

• Experience working with cloud services & CI/CD (e.g. AWS, Jenkins).
• Experience of optimisation for performance, accessibility and security.
• Experience building RESTful API's or GraphQL.
• Experience in Java.
