In short, the Digital Producer will be responsible for: working with Talent to develop creative concepts, hiring and managing third-party production companies, scheduling productions, tracking spending, and ensuring expectations and quality standards are met.

The Producer's focus is the day to day running of digital video projects and managing their schedules. The PM will manage the Creators, production schedules, content delivery and interact extensively with Talent, Overseas Teams, Vendors, and Internal production departments.

Jellysmack Creator team works with high-value independent creators to develop, produce and optimize social video content for their distribution platforms (mainly Youtube, Facebook, Snap, IGTV and TikTok) .

Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the leading Jellysmack Creators to manage the production schedule for new and ongoing productions. This includes working with internal development teams, setting deadlines, and acting as the internal communicator amongst various departments.
  • Participate in creative brainstorm and strategy sessions with Jellysmack and Talent
  • Work closely with internal Partnership and Success teams to schedule necessary meetings with talent. Keep a close eye on the calendar to ensure that all required meetings are accounted for and that if there are conflicts they are resolved.
  • Source and onboard third-party Production Companies to handle week-to-week production.
  • Prepare paperwork for freelance staff, and handle any crew contracting through Wrapbook
  • Regular contact with third-party Production Companies. Work closely with third-party Production Company partners to ensure that partners are both on track and clear on expectations for any given shoot.
  • Represent Jellysmack on set during production, as needed
  • Oversee the production crew, working closely with the Talent to ensure that all production goals and deadlines are met. When issues/problems arise, the Production Manager will flag to necessary internal teams and bring forward suggestions on how to resolve the issues/problems.
  • Ensure raw footage and audio is properly organized, labeled, and delivered to the post-production team
  • Track production spending
  • Provide any requested materials to other divisions and partners.
  • Ensure that all show elements and production material is archived appropriately Basic Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in digital video production, including scheduling, budgeting, and on-set experience
  • Solid understanding of native digital talent
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to partner with key Youtube talent, collaborate with peers
  • Ability to oversee multiple projects and solve problems in a fast-paced environment
  • Positive attitude with the ability to be flexible
  • Excellent organizational, verbal, written, e-social skills and acumen
