The Role

We are in search of an APAC HR Business Partner to help take our People team to the next level. We’re not your typical “HR” team, and the HR Business Partner will be key in making that felt throughout Jellysmack. When done right, traditional “employee relations” will be just a small piece of your role. Your position will be strategic, rather than reactive. You’ll have the ability to connect with team members across the organization to have an impact on career growth, performance, diversity and inclusion, engagement and happiness. Your mission:

Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation

  • Ensures that HR policies/internal processes are relevant, gather inputs from the team and contribute to evolving our policies and processes.
  • Communicate HR policies / internal processes and ensure that they are understood and applied by employees/managers.
  • Ensure that all team members have a thorough understanding of Jellysmack’s culture, embody Jellysmack’s values.
  • Ensure field implementation related to our signed collective agreements.
  • Participate in Company-wide performance campaigns: gather inputs and ensure that all relevant areas of feedback are incorporated into our Review templates.
  • Ensure that Managers and Employees have clarity around their role in the performance review process and support them as needed.
  • Ensure that every team member has clarity around their objectives and that performance is appropriately rewarded.
  • Gather and structure recruiting needs / hiring plans.
  • Work with team Managers to optimize org and staffing.
  • Continuously challenge job descriptions and comp&ben mechanisms to ensure adequacy between org efforts and strategic importance of each population (in collaboration with the Comp and Ben expert team).
  • Gather key Learning & Development needs and collaborate with L&D team to ensure needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain HR reports.
  • Analyze results and propose improvement actions.
  • Key role in ensuring a high-quality level of HR data in our system.
  • Ensure the well-being of the Managers and Employees in the widest acceptance and raise flags as needed.
  • E.g., animate co-development sessions with managers, team building activities.
  • Contract renewals and update (request and writing).
  • Payroll coordination in collaboration with payroll team.
  • Management of contentious cases mutual agreements & dismissal with the support from law agencies



A little about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field, is required.
  • At least 10+ years as a HRBP or HR Manager in an international environment, an APAC experience is a plus.
  • Fluent in English, an Asian language would be appreciated.
  • Skilled at building collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization to solve problems and implement solutions.
  • Strong communication skills both writing and speaking, you will have to communicate with several teams and stakeholders.
