Your mission:

The VP of EU People will manage a team of HRBPs responsible for providing guidance and handling employee and managers relationships across the European Union area. This person will report to the Head of EU People Operations. This team of HRBPs will advise and support employees and managers on a broad range of escalated people topics, including HR policy interpretation, People strategy, and organization management.


  • Lead a best-in-class People Team,
  • Inspire and lead a strong team aligned and excited to implement the people strategy,
  • Ensure that the HRBPs respect HR processes, policies, people reporting & data management,
  • Coach and train HRBP in their communication, feedback, and interaction responsibilities,
  • Advice, help, and challenge HRBP in day-to-day HR management (Legal, Admin, tools…).

Enhance the People Experience:

  • Participate in Company-wide performance campaigns: gather inputs and challenge the performance assessment strategy,
  • Ensure that objectives (OKR) are well determined, communicated, and tracked,
  • Gather key Learning & Development needs and collaborate with the L&D team to ensure global needs are met,
  • Ensure that all HR team members have a thorough understanding of Jellysmack’s culture, embody Jellysmack’s values, and are connected to subjects like inclusion and diversity (EID).

Provide HR policy guidance and interpretation:

  • Ensure that HR policies/internal processes are relevant, gather inputs from the HRBP, and contribute to evolving our policies and processes,
  • Communicate HR policies / internal processes and ensure that they are understood and applied by HRBP & Managers.

Support business in improving organization:

  • Work with team HRBP & Managers to optimize staffing and ensure that the people organization can support business growth,
  • Continuously challenge job descriptions and comp&ben mechanisms to ensure adequacy between org efforts and strategic importance of each population (in collaboration with the expert Compensation and Benefits team).



A little about you:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or a related field, is required,
  • At least 10+ years as a VP People in an international environment,
  • It is required to be completely bilingual in English. A knowledge of French is advantageous. You will work with non-French speakers and be required to write clear documentation in English,
  • Skilled at building collaborative relationships at all levels to solve problems and implement solutions,
  • Strong communication skills both writing and speaking, you will have to communicate with several teams and stakeholders,
  • Innovative, having delivered HR initiatives and change activities successfully,
  • Dedicated to being creative and process-driven at the same time while constantly looking for ways to make things work more efficiently,
  • Positive and solutions-focused,
  • Tech-savvy (Google suites and Slack for communicating).
