The Senior Director of Learning & Growth will drive short and long-term strategies for the organization by identifying, developing, crafting, and delivering a variety of learning curriculum to meet the demands of the business and employees. This person will deliver high-touch learning and growth strategies in areas focused on capability development model, leadership framework, new hire experience, new and experienced people leaders, talent management, and other key initiatives for Zwift employees.

This person is a strong People Leader, who will inspire, empower, and enable their team to deliver innovative and iterative learning solutions.

What you'll do:

  • Establish Learning and Growth’s vision with clear goals and measurable outcomes. Represent departmental priorities and projects to Zwift’s leadership and employees.
  • Build, encourage, and lead an impactful L&G team that champions cross-functional collaboration and communication.
  • Lead and manage instructional design and career development matrixes and competency frameworks across all departments.
  • Develop, deliver and evaluate different learning programs and trainings (i.e. EQ, Conflict Resolution, Organizational Change) at all levels (entry to executive level) in support of a successful culture and enhanced business outcomes.
  • Partner with People Business Partners to identify areas where training solutions can be used across the company based on core and leadership expectations.
  • Conduct needs analysis to develop a learning strategy and plan for each department in the organization.
  • Establish an annual training budget. Oversee and monitor all related expenses, including vendor management, ensure cost-effective methods are applied while ensuring business training needs are met.
  • Continuously evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of L&G portfolio solutions to ensure results meet Zwift’s strategic and operational objectives.
  • Partner with the Internal Communications and Change Management team to drive the development of training strategy, plan and content for large-scale change projects.
  • Develop training and facilitation for new processes and implementations such as Workday implementation and Performance Management.
  • Develop and facilitate new and innovative formal and informal learning opportunities including, but not limited to workshops, on-demand learning, coaching circles, etc.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Psychology, Learning Management, Instructional Design, Human Resources, or a related field
  • 15+ years of dynamic training and development experience focused on design, development, and facilitation
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal acumen to interact with employees and executives alike in a way that influences and mobilizes development and results
  • A hands-on visionary leader with strong analytical and project management skills, to deliver on time and on budget while addressing the needs of contending priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in change management and leading complex, organization-wide programs
  • Ability to work independently and optimally as part of a globally dispersed, remote team, driving successful outcomes with both in-person and virtual teams
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory, needs assessment tools, instructional design methods, and blended learning strategies (ILT, VILT, etc)
  • Ability to manage the L&G roadmap while working cross-functionally with stakeholders to ensure a solid execution of the plans and success measures

  • Consulting experience is a plus
  • Experience in tech, gaming, or health & fitness industries
  • Passion for cycling, running and/or fitness
