Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, you will help execute the roadmap for building out the Finance function to support Executive decision making while making sure the day-to-day financial needs of the business are met. You will have exposure to many aspects of the business including fundraising and cash management, Sales/Inventory/Operational planning, Risk planning and analysis, while providing valuable input to the overall business strategy.You must be able to communicate effectively with customers, vendors, as well as internal partners to resolve issues. This role requires an A-player with a strong sense of ownership and flexibility to handle the fast-paced nature of a high-growth business. You should be well-organized, detail-oriented, and be able to perform a variety of tasks under pressure. What You'll Do

    • FP&A support to enable decision making for function heads including budgeting and KPI reporting, project investment analysis, and ad hoc analysis/reporting
    • External reporting as needed for investor relations and reporting requirements
    • Bookkeeping—Execute internal month-end closing processes each month
    • Accounts Payable—Bill processing and vendor/credit management
    • Accounts Receivable—Invoicing customers and providing statements of account as needed
    • Expense management 
    • Liase with 3rd party for tax filing and R&D tax credit studies
    • Own continuous improvement of all processes both in Finance and throughout the business when needed

What You'll Need

    • Minimum of 2 years experience in Accounting; CPA or CPA candidate preferred
    • Strong understanding of US GAAP and basic understanding of Tax
    • Understanding of accounting for SAAS companies with a hardware component
    • Demonstrated track record of owning projects and driving to completion
    • Demonstrated problem solving and continuous process improvement skills 
    • Proven computer proficiency in Excel 
    • Ability to drive process improvement and standardize workflows 
    • Ability to change priorities quickly and capacity to handle multiple tasks
    • Agility and bias for action, discerning how to best push your work forward and who to reach out to for information you need
