Technical Lead - Integration Engineer

This individual will translate business requirements into working solutions through building and delivering intelligent and robust integration solutions for our business. These solutions will use integration platforms where possible and extend the platforms using custom code.
The senior Integration developer will develop technical designs and solutions for complex integration problems and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for various integration solutions. This person must be highly technical and a phenomenal teammate, as they will be partnering with various partners in business, engineering & IT organizations, working in a scrum (agile) mode
What you’ll do:
- Defines integration development objectives by analyzing user requirements and collaborating with partners to ensure the architecture is aligned with business requirements; envisioning system features and functionality, and making pragmatic recommendations on enhancements
- Develops, tests, and documents integration solutions, custom development, and data migration elements of business applications in the CRM, ERP, SCM, HCM, PLM/PDM, domains, etc.
- Hands-on design, development, deployment, and maintenance of integration processes between applications across cloud and/or on-premises using an iPaaS platform (Cloud Integration, Application Integration, and Enterprise web services APIs) such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.
- Builds Service-Oriented and discoverable Web services and APIs
- Monitors trends in technology; research, validate, and build recommendations to implement new technologies, frameworks, methodologies
- Ensures that integration design, performance optimization, and tuning best practices and standards are maintained and adheres to the SDLC principles for software development
- Performs design and code reviews, creating clear and concise comments in code to aid understanding by developers and assist in code deployment
- Maintains user documentation with all technical details and proper visual diagrams for easy understanding
- Supports and maintain applications within the production environment, including working with appropriate teams to solve and find the root cause of issues and respond to them in a timely and professional manner
- Develop interface specifications to support microservice related initiatives
What we’re looking for:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of hands-on software development with 5 years of experience designing, developing and deploying integration solutions with an iPaaS platform such as Dell Boomi, MuleSoft, etc.
- Demonstrated experience with RAML and Swagger/Open API specification formats
- Extensive experience working with REST, SOAP APIs to integrate business processes across enterprise application platforms like Workday, NetSuite, OneStream or Adaptive Insights, etc., as well as on-premises systems
- Experience with exception handling, alerting, auditing, and security patterns for complex workflows
- Effective communicator and able to collaborate with multi-functional team members, including functional business partners, application developers, QA, and other technical team members
- Knowledge of eCommerce platform (Amazon, Shopify, etc) integrations and APIs
- Experience working with cloud, on-premises, and hybrid cloud solutions
- Experience defining version control procedures and assist in managing all environments and code releases on each
- Experience writing unit test procedures and documenting test results to ensure software system requirements are met

- MuleSoft or Dell Boomi Certified Developer or any other iPaaS certified
- Project management skills
