Company Website

Domino has an ambitious vision for data science and machine learning. Our platform helps data science teams accelerate research, increase collaboration, and rapidly deploy predictive models. Our customers are the most sophisticated analytical organizations in the world, including Salesforce, Dell, RedHat, Gap, Bristol-Myers Squibb, and Bayer.

Backed by Sequoia Capital, Zetta Venture Partners, and Bloomberg Beta. Domino is at the epicenter of the data science revolution, helping companies build better cars, develop more effective medicine, or simply recommend the best song to play next.

Domino has offices in multiple countries and cities, with our headquarters in San Francisco. For the past few months we have been operating in full remote mode and have continued to grow the company and our team despite the challenging economic environment. More than ever in fact, our platform has supported our customers in driving crucial Data Science projects, such as vaccine research, while working remotely as well.

If you are an experienced full stack engineer with serious tech chops, we have exciting challenges for you to tackle. Domino is investing heavily in technology to support Model Operations, including model hosting and monitoring, two aspects which are at the forefront of productionizing Data Science and Machine Learning. As part of this investment we are building a new dedicated ModelOps team and this is an opportunity to become one of the founding members of this team in the US.

Our stack includes Kubernetes, Spark, Scala, Python, React, Node, and other technologies which are at the leading edge of cloud-native compute. Our customers deploy Domino on premise and all major clouds. As part of our team, you will work with modern tooling and follow best in class practices.

We prefer to hire engineers on the East Coast for this position for better time zone alignment with the rest of the US-based team and more time overlap with our Bangalore team.

Responsibilities

You will join our newly formed US-based ModelOps team and collaborate both with our existing Bangalore-based team and our other West Coast teams to drive innovation in and extend the features of our Model Monitor product by writing scalable, performant software. You will also support and extend the Model Publish & Host modules of our platform. As part of the technical leadership group, you will author and contribute to technical designs, perform code reviews, enforce architecture and code best practices, and pair with and mentor junior engineers. And as any good engineer, you will help with hiring.
