We are looking for an assertive relationship-builder to support all aspects of document control, BOM creation and management, and change management. With successful involvement in change implementations, experience with an electronic document management system (EDMS), and a good understanding of technical specifications, you are just the new EGYMee we are looking for to join our team in Munich as Document Control Specialist (m/f/d)!   • You will be a central element of the administration of Arena PLM on both the technical side as well as the stakeholder management side, and will continuously expand the scope of the PLM tool usage
  • You will support the change management of the hardware engineering and supply chain management teams with the tool
  • You will structure and administer the current hardware development file storage system (Google Drive), and drive improvements and expansions
  • You will drive the implementation of a better fitting EDMS, when our requirements outgrow the possibilities in Google Drive, taking on as much responsibility as your ambition, experiences, and skills allow
  • You will work with sales and operations to maintain and improve our SKU management (Stock keeping unit), ensuring common identifiers for all our products from hardware, through software to services
  • You may support the process documentation of hardware development in a BPMN tool (Business Process Model and Notation), ensuring consistency if you are interested and experienced in it
Your fitness level
  • You have a degree in engineering, business administration with a technical focus, or similar
  • You have at least 3 years directly related working experience and proven experience in managing EDMS
  • You have worked with a PLM tool in the past, Arena PLM is a plus
  • You understand technical specs and worked with hardware engineering teams before to create BOMs
  • You are assertive and resilient and able to create trustful relationships with your stakeholders
  • You are able to work independently given the proper guidance and support structures
  • You are able to communicate effectively in English across all levels of our organisation, German is a plus
Your training goal for your first 6 months
  • You have developed a deep understanding of our documentation systems and change management at EGYM
  • You are valued as a competent contact partner by the hardware development team and your key stakeholders, and you have established good relationships with them
  • You have extended and optimized our current EDMS structure to neatly include data from at least two additional business areas
  • You have a vision off what a fitting EDMS for at least the next 5 years should look like
