Job Description

To support Nexthink Customers, we are looking for a Consultant who can provide foundation and advanced implementation configuration services to new customers as well as helping established customers to get deeper in advancing their use of Nexthink.


The focus of the role is to utilize your technical and analytical skills combined with deep data analytics skills to help end user computing professionals solve their most pressing business challenges using Nexthink.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Billable consulting onsite or remote at a customer facility 
  • Could be up to 50% travel when travel is safe again, as of now 100% remote
  • Provide training on product capabilities and architecture
  • Design architecture and implementation specifications
  • Develop customer investigation and remediation scripts as part of the implementation process
  • Ability to work independently with customers/partners at all levels
  • Valid passport to travel international as required
  • Ability to drive consultative conversations on defining business issues and remediation possibilities that can be achieved with Nexthink Products and services

Qualifications

Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in a consulting position preferably with a high growth enterprise data analytics company
  • Previous Enterprise IT Operations Experience a plus, (IT Infrastructure, capacity planning, end user hardware/software engineering) 
  • 4 year Technical degree in computer science, software development, etc.
     

Required Skills:

  • Extensive technical knowledge in the IT operations space
  • Strong skills in scripting and integration concepts, (Python, JSON, PowerShell, REST API, LDAP, SSO)
  • Strong skills in data analytics, and visualization of data, (SQL, PowerBI, Tableau, etc.)
  • Strong ability to gather and translate business issues into technical solutions 
  • Functional understanding  in at least one security operational domain (e.g. SOC, vulnerability assessment, pen testing, incident response)
  • Functional understanding of the current industry security standards and regulations (e.g. ISO27k, PCI-DSS, GDRP, NIST)
  • Comfortable with Risk Management frameworks, ideally with experience in risk assessments
  • Excellent knowledge of the current Cyber threats landscape
  • Good knowledge of IT operations in challenging environments
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies in an unsupervised environment
  • Excellent communication, customer facing and teamwork skills
  • Exceptional analytical skills; outstanding communication and teamwork skills, social awareness
  • Enthusiasm for working in an international, collaborative and fast-paced environment and learning new technologies

Desired Skills:

  • ITIL v4 Knowledge, Prefer Foundation Certified
  • CMDB Knowledge
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture
  • Business Case Analysis
  • Data Modeling, proficient in using tools to extract, manipulate and visualize large data sets to provide guidance and solutions to abstract problems identified in IT and end user device performance, (SQL commands, scripting a plus, PowerBI, Tableau, others..)
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows clients and applications, 
  • Linux , Open Architecture Understanding
  • MacOS Familiarity
  • SCCM and PowerShell proficient
