Malwarebytes is looking for a detailed orientated, self-motivated People Generalist to join our Santa Clara office. Reporting into the international People Business Partner located in Ireland you will support our US based employees with day-to-day queries offering first level HR support. You will partner with the People Business Partners on employee relations, leadership requests and other matters related to directly partnering with the business while also working closely with the Global People Business Partner team on the execution of Global People programs, practices, and policies. 


What You’ll Do: 

  • Help to roll out new policies and procedures; recommend changes for continuous improvement 
  • Assist with processes in HRIS (Workday) including initiating job and manager changes, pay increases, and create related letters  
  • Process internal employee transfers 
  • Supporting US based employees with leave and work comp requests, updating the HRIS and processing associated documentation  
  • Maintain and monitor information systems and create metrics in relation to performance management, leave/absence management, employee surveys 
  • Support the People Business Partners with compiling reports/ metrics for managers as well as creating content for employee meetings 
  • Coordinate and handle voluntary termination process, facilitating exit meetings and all offboarding processes for your assigned support group  


Skills You’ll Need to Have: 

  • A bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of relevant HR experience 
  • Demonstrated effective skills collaborating, planning, and managing projects, and executing work in a timely and accurate manner. 
  • Ability to work on programs with long-term impact 
  • Ability to pay careful attention to customer needs and take action in order to meet or exceed customer expectations. Treating customers with a high level of respect and appreciation is expected. 
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal 
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate clearly to various levels of employees  
  • Familiarity with the Microsoft Office suite of tools, an advanced level of Excel is essential. 
  • Familiarity with Workday is preferred. 
  • A very high level of personal organization and a strong attention to detail 
  • Ability to work with sensitive and confidential information without compromise 
  • Fluency in English
