Malwarebytes is looking for..  

As an integral member of the Malwarebytes Education Services team, the Education Specialist will help lead the development of Malwarebytes’ customer-facing product training for our corporate and consumer audiences.  In this role, you will empower external target audiences with the knowledge and skills to be successful in deploying and using Malwarebytes’ products and solutions. You will accomplish  this task by collecting information from subject matter experts, framing it in ways which others can easily understand it, and then effectively delivering that training content in mass. Your primary responsibility will be to help build and maintain a library of training assets for Malwarebytes Academy, our YouTube channel, and the Malwarebytes support website.   

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Manage the flow of knowledge from our Product Management and Engineering teams to the Education Services team 
  • Take point on the design and development of creative, engaging, and interactive online product training content  
  • Assist in the creation of innovative, on-demand eLearning modules, how-to videos, and more 
  • Work with SMEs to storyboard and write content that is focused on the correct learning and performance objectives 
  • Contribute to scripts for courses, videos, knowledge checks, and quizzes that validate achievement of the learning objectives 
  • Assist with the management of the team’s LMS tool.  Load eLearning courses, enroll students in courses, and manage other processes related to end-user learning content and assessments 
  • Maintain a deep understanding of Malwarebytes products and solutions 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships and partner with internal teams to deliver the best overall customer experience 
  • Design and analyze customer surveys and usage reports to track performance to training goals and desired outcomes 
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed 

 

Skills You’ll Need to Have: 

  • 3+ years developing web-based, on-demand training content 
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline and Adobe Premiere Pro CC or similar content tools is required 
  • Experience with managing content in a learning management system (LMS) is strongly preferred 
  • Ability to conceive and develop engaging and relevant training content  
  • Experience working cross-functionally across multiple departments to complete assignments 
  • Experience creating training for endpoint security technologies or related enterprise software is a plus 
  • Experience in deploying and configuring security software is a plus 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Must be well organized and detail-oriented with the ability to track multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously 
  • This role requires someone who is highly collaborative, obsessive about quality, and enjoys helping others learn and grow
