Job Description
What we need...
We are looking for a London based Front-End Web Developer to join our amazing FE team.
You will have a background in combining the art of design with the art of programming and your responsibilities will include translation of the product requirements and UI/UX design wireframes to actual code that will be included in our websites and applications.
You will work closely with both the Product Management and UI/UX teams to bring to life the graphical design into technical implementation, taking an active role on both sides and defining how the application looks as well as how it works.
What you'll do…
- Build reusable web components using Stenciljs
- Develop new user-facing features for web and mobile applications using Angular (latest version)
- Write automated tests for your code and for the applications.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
- Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
- Incorporate challenging features managing video and images
- Collaborate with team members and developers from other departments
- Collaborate with other developers by participating in code reviews, sharing knowledge and brainstorming
- You will be willing to take on additional responsibilities as needed
Preferred Experience
What you'll have...
- 3 – 5+ years of experience as a JavaScript developer
- Knowledge of Typescript
- Desire to learn new technologies and domains
- Ability to work well in fast-paced environment
- Preferable to have a knowledge of one of, Angular, Stenciljs/Ionic
