You are a passionate software engineer and want to build data-driven alerting and anomaly detection capabilities for Nexthink, one of the most exciting and fastest-growing companies In Switzerland, then continue reading, you are in the right place!
Come to join the Alerts team with brilliant engineers located in Lausanne and Madrid. You will build large-scale scalable distributed applications that process billions of events per second by using modern cloud-native technologies (AWS, Kafka).
Main functions:
- You will play a central role in developing the next-generation alerting systems to help Nexthink remain the leader in managing the digital employee experience.
- You will build distributed cloud-native applications using a modern open-source technology stack and deploy it to multiple regions across the globe.
- You will have end-to-end responsibility of feature development and work closely with designers, product managers and other engineering teams.
Qualifications
- Team player, strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of core Java
- Microservices and containers experience
- Experience with both relational and NoSQL datastores
- Familiar with CI/CD and Infrastructure As Code
- Experience working in an Agile environment
- B.S. or Master in Computer Science (or equivalent)
Valued optional experience
- Experience working with Cloud providers
- Experience with stream processing platforms (Apache Kafka)
- ClickHouse, GraphQL, Micronaut
- Experience working with a front-end development framework (React)
- Good understanding of cloud-native patterns (event sourcing)
- Experience working with monitoring tools (e.g. NewRelic)
