The Opportunity

 

We are looking for a knowledgeable and energetic Functional Consultant to join our ever-growing Product Delivery function here at Featurespace, to be based flexibly out of either our Cambridge or London offices.

Our Functional Consultants help us achieve our goals and deliver success on behalf of our customers by being responsible for the elicitation of customer journeys and capture of requirements during customer project implementations, ensuring that they are reflected within our tailored ARIC Risk Hub solutions. This particular opportunity has a focus on ARIC for Anti-Money Laundering (AML). They are also responsible for defining the underlying data structures of the transaction monitoring system, based on a customer’s individual product requirements and standard or bespoke event flows.

 

Day to Day

 
  • Reporting with a dotted line into the Head of Financial Crime, work closely with the AML team to navigate AML deliveries, provide any customer feedback to the AML Product Manager and support AML solution development
  • Work directly with customers (internal and external) during a project delivery to gain detailed understanding of the customer, system, process and data
  • Leading workshops and ensuring that the requirements are fully extracted, captured and understood by the Featurespace internal delivery teams, and incorporated to deliver an optimal ARIC solution
  • Responsible for creating functional solution design, requirements traceability, user and process flow documentation
  • Building a strong technical and product understanding of the ARIC platform and using this to guide customers in how the platform configurations can be tailored to suit their needs
  • Communicating with internal/external customers providing feedback and recommendations back to business stakeholders (SMEs/Product Management/Marketing/Delivery)
  • Partaking in and contributing to product development working groups, working alongside SMEs, Product, and UI teams to represent the customer desires/wishes and identify opportunities to design features that improve the platform offering
  • Support project delivery teams to land projects successfully; providing strong business analysis, process and technical understanding to the team
  • Providing detailed analysis to support opportunity and commercial proposition

About you

 
  • Considerable experience of delivering large software implementation projects to the Financial Services or payments industry, preferably with a focus on transaction monitoring
  • Extensive experience in Anti-Money Laundering/Financial Crime Compliance
  • Strong understanding of business analysis techniques and project delivery methodologies
  • Must possess the capability to understand, elicit and capture detailed technical and functional requirements and communicate these at a level appropriate to the audience
  • Proven ability to engage with different roles within the internal business such as sales, SME, technical and implementations as well as external customers
  • Willingness to get stuck in and support your fellow Product Delivery team members and Featurespace colleagues
  • Good understanding of data analysis and API structures, with some experience of SQL desirable
  • Strong in project management and organisation skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
