The Role:

With more than 500 creator partners and teams in over 20 countries, Jellysmack is experiencing hyper-growth, and we are looking for a dynamic and creative Global Public Relations Manager to join our PR team to help tell our story to the world. Reporting to the Global Head of PR & Communications, you will help build the public relations vision for the company and work with cross-functional teams and PR agencies to bring that strategy to life.

We’re looking for an enthusiastic team player with an understanding of traditional and digital media, social content, creators, pop culture, and technology. This role might be for you if you are interested in the evolution of media and social platforms, enjoy working with new technologies, and find shaping the future of the creator economy exciting.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, manage and execute public relations strategies and plans that promote the business and elevate Jellysmack's image, talent, leaders, and reputation.
  • Own and support media relations efforts with industry, technology, and business press.
  • Help further the global Jellysmack technology narrative with a focus on creators, company vision, the creator economy, and differentiation.
  • Own and drive general awareness campaigns and product launches, developing global communications plans, launch materials, media FAQs, launch assets, and other resources.
  • Serve as a resource and organizer for global storytelling, including developing and driving media and creator-facing, multi-market initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prepare proactive and reactive messaging for corporate communications, product features, creator industry events, and more.
  • Keep a pulse on the media landscape, with an emphasis on creators, social trends, and technology news that's most relevant to Jellysmack.
  • Manage the daily operations of the U.S. public relations agency and partner with global marketing teams and their local PR firms to ensure a consistent brand message worldwide.
  • Identify speaking opportunities for senior management and pitch the company for participation at leading conferences and events worldwide.
  • Prepare briefing materials for leadership for all interviews and panels.
  • Participate in the creation of editorial content, like newsletters, blogs, emails, reports, social posts, web content, and other marketing collateral materials.
  • Track campaign success and media coverage.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, or a relevant field.
  • 5-6 years of experience
  • Prior experience managing public relations or related activities.
  • Knowledge and curiosity of social media, online marketing, and internet culture.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
