Malwarebytes is looking for... 

You will be a part of an all-star Product Management team that is responsible for shaping our Malwarebytes strategy, defining business requirements, and determining sprint priorities.  You will partner with other product management team members to successfully deliver a final product to our customers. This position will work closely with engineering, user experience, marketing, program management, and customer success. A successful product manager is an expert on their products and the market segment, with excellent communication skills to evangelize products internally across functional teams as well as externally to Malwarebytes customers. The ability to communicate the values of Malwarebytes solution by providing key use cases, product demonstrations and roadmap presentations is key to your success.  


 What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate closely with other Product Team leaders to define and execute on the product strategy, vision, and roadmap for the Malwarebytes product line for Consumers 
  • Conduct and collaborate with others on market and user research to identify unmet customer needs and to inform future product direction 
  • Work with Growth and UI/UX teams to define new product experiences 
  • Create and maintain consumer research program
  • Translate high-level product features into epics and detailed user stories  
  • Own the Product backlog and implementation of user stories  
  • Build, prune and maintain the team backlog of epics, user stories, defects, refactors, infrastructure work 
  • Prepare and participate in release planning  
  • Participate in sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives and daily standups 
  • Work closely with the scrum team to explain your user stories, make key decisions, negotiate trade-offs and ensure delivery of business value and on-time releases 
  • Coordinate with Program Management and Marketing to ensure smooth product launches 
  • Manage beta programs and participate in forums on on-going basis 
  • Evangelize and defend the vision of the product with the internal teams on a day-to-day basis 
  • Advocate for users to ensure customer satisfaction and acceptance 
  • Maintain close relationship with the cross-functional team (Sales, Support, Marketing, Engineering and Test Engineering) to answer questions about your product 
  • Collaborate with other Technical, Product Strategy and Product Marketing Managers to share knowledge and experience, coordinate with other releases and deliver great products 
  • Analyze competitive landscape and conduct technology assessments 


Skills You’ll Need to Have:

  • 3-5+ years of software product management experience 
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) preferred 
  • Experience with Jobs To Be Done framework
  • Pragmatic Institute (Marketing) certification
  • Self-directed, proactive, highly detailed-oriented, results-driven, with ability to effectively operate in a fast-paced, constantly-evolving, collaborative environment 
  • Strong exposure to user experience design and user research  
  • Ability to collaborate and interact across functional boundaries and across multiple organizational levels  
  • Ability to speak with internal and external customers with knowledge and professionalism 
  • Background in the security space (anti-malware or anti-virus technologies) preferred 
  • Experience with B2C software products helpful 
  • Creative thinker, problem solver, and strong leader with excellent attention to detail 
  • Ability to multi-task, adapt to changes, and maintain positive attitude 
  • Highly self-motivated, pro-actively reporting on status and tasks 
  • Enthusiasm for working in a fun and fast-paced culture 
  • Some travel may be required
