(Junior) Information Risk / Security Manager

You will be part of a growing information security team driving information security initiatives further in our organization to ensure security by design in our way of thinking. You will closely collaborate with our SOC team and data protection experts to ensure information security both in our internal processes but also our products.

Your mission

With a passion for secure working environments and processes you will support the Information Security Team and in particular our Information Security Manager to bring SoSafe to the next (information security) level and help to empower our employees to become best in class and role models for our customers in terms of awareness and security.
Your responsibilities will include: 

• You perform continuous risk assessments of the IT services and processes we use
• You contribute to the design of the business continuity management and IT security strategy
• You support the preparations on the way to ISO 27001 and other certifications
• You assist in setting up and maintaining an ISMS
• You support in security assessments of our service providers and partners as well as by our customers
• You conduct and/or support internal and external audits and the tracking of corrective actions
• You contribute to internal awareness building, e.g. by means of our own platform
• You advise our business units in day-to-day business, implementing and adhering to our policies and standards, as well as current best practices in information security
• You support and/or train colleagues in various formal and informal formats and foster exchange on security

Your profile

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration or comparable studies with focus on Information Security
• Ideally you have gained some working experience in the field of information technology, information security or information security risk assessment as well as in dealing with compliance aspects (creating policies and processes, evaluating risks) or IT-Audits
• You have a deep understanding of IT concepts
• Ideally you already gathered some experience in modern cloud infrastructure
• You are passionate about intercultural work
• You have the drive to continuously develop both yourself and your colleagues further in order to become a little bit better every day
• You have an attention to detail
• You have a doer and team-player mentality, a strong sense of ownership and project-management skills
• You are able to explain complex security topics in easy words
• You have excellent English skills, both written and spoken.
• Knowledge of security standards and frameworks i.e. ISO 27001 is a plus
