Your mission:

We aim to build the world's #1 video editing marketplace and revolutionize the way freelance video editors work.

In this context, the Sourcing and Onboarding Coordinator plays a critical role here at Jellysmack. They are in charge of facilitating and scaling up the JellyStudio Marketplace by finding the best freelance creative talent (including editor agencies and any potential partners from post production) and welcoming them, ensuring that they understand our standards and practices to set them up for a successful collaboration with us.

The Sourcing & Onboarding Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for our newly sourced editors and functions as an ambassador of Jellysmack and its values. With our ever-growing number of editors, our unique post-production workflow, and our high-quality standards, the Sourcing & Onboarding Coordinator must be ready to tackle new challenges every day!

Requirements

What you’ll be responsible for:

Sourcing

  • Take charge of the sourcing efforts for all of the positions for which you will be held accountable
  • You will need to source from various geographies: LATAM, Brazil
  • Rethink, challenge, and localize sourcing practices and processes on a regular basis
  • Develop advanced sourcing techniques to find the best creative freelance collaborators
  • Constantly strive to improve both the hiring manager and candidate experience

Onboarding

  • Train newly sourced editors through their first three weeks in our workflow as part of our official certification process.
  • Make sure that new editors have all the resources and information they need to get used to our unique post-production process and our own software, JellyStudio.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from editors so that you can make changes and improve the experience for them.
  • Identify ways to ease our processes, to guarantee scalability and quality across content, as well as localizing, when needed, processes and materials.
  • Improve our Editor KPI metrics related to certification, quality, retention, and turnover rates.

A little about you:

  • 2-4 years of experience
  • An interest or previous experience in sourcing, or casting creative talent.
  • Both highly organized and creative. You can gather data-driven insights and leverage them to "think outside the box."
  • Fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese,
  • Adaptable and able to act quickly
  • Video editing knowledge on Premiere Pro (a plus)
  • Black belt in social media
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Problem-solving (you are solutions-oriented and a doer).
  • Motivation and pedagogy
  • Passionate about people
  • You must be based in Brazil

Contract duration: 6 months.

Compensation: BRL 6K / month

The hiring process consists of two interviews.
