Your mission:
As a general accountant, you will be in charge of overseeing all accounting (UK).
What you’ll be responsible for:
Financial accounting
- Post manual entries in connection with management control
- Establish financial statements of the British entities
- Verify the reporting
- Carry out the bank and intercompany reconciliations
- Inform and assist the auditors
Accounts Payable
- Manage invoices and payments of accounts payable
- Ensure bank reconciliations
Tax Coordination
- Prepare VAT submission for UK entities
- Prepare various payments to tax authorities (HMRC, Vitality, Nest)
- Liaise with tax consultancy for corporate income tax
Requirements
A little about you:
- BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree (BAC +4/5)
- Five years experience in a similar position
- Hands-on experience with accounting software/ERP (NetSuite) and Microsoft Office
- Fluency in English and French is necessary for this role
- You are based in France or in the UK
