Who you are: 

The Camunda Marketing Team is looking for a digital-native, organized and detail-oriented Events Manager to drive the strategy and execution of our online and on-site event portfolio. . The right candidate will be responsible for the planning, cross-channel user experience and organization of our  events. As the leader of each program, you will work closely with members of the Demand Generation, Content Teams and FieldOps to identify topics, target audiences and ensure the events are promoted across all channels to drive net new leads and nurture existing prospects and customers.

*This is a remote role and can be located anywhere in the US-East Coast. 

What you’ll do:

  • Work with Subject Matter Experts, Product Marketing and other stakeholders to create event abstracts and landing pages for Camunda digital, on-site and hybrid events
  • Ensure engaging and frictionless digital and in-person experience for all attendees from initial event awareness, to registration, attendance and post-event follow-up
  • Provide day-to-day event planning, preparation and project management for multiple national meetings, large-scale conferences, and other events for a variety of clients simultaneously
  • Operational setup and management of online events platforms such as Zoom or GoToWebinar, to track registrants and attendee engagement
  • Track, report on, and provide insights on channel performance for event registration
  • Report on event themes, engagement, and conversion throughout the sales funnel
  • Recommend follow up content to move leads through the funnel
  • Moderate digital events, respond to attendee questions, operate polls and leverage other interactive elements to engage audience members 
  • Work with Demand Generation Managers, ensure digital event programs are helping to meet lead goals in specific regions - occasionally customizing programs for time zones and languages 
  • Manage meeting preparation, supplies ordering, and packing/shipping of event materials
  • Oversee staffing at events and manage onsite event set up; includes occasional travel to regional and national meetings

What you’ll bring to the role:

  • 3 - 6 years of experience running online and on-site events
  • “Digital DNA” with strong online marketing experience and a knack for providing a great user experience. CX is a key to success.
  • Experience using tools like GoToWebinar, On24, Zoom Webinars, CVent,, HubSpot
  • Experience in the B2B technology industry preferred
  • Strong understanding of modern marketing methodologies, such as Inbound Marketing, SEO, SEM, paid digital, ABM and email best practices
  • Data-driven attitude with strong analytical skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with video streaming a huge plus
  • Experience working in a global company and collaborating across multiple teams and stakeholders 
  • Fluent in English
