Malwarebytes is looking for..  

An experienced self-starter to transform ecommerce operations for a software as a service (SaaS), self-service and sales assisted subscription business serving both consumers and corporations. As a hands-on leader, you will establish processes, procedures and updates across core capabilities and technologies to support profitable growth.  

The ideal candidate will be an ecommerce expert, with proven hands-on experience with a SaaS company, global operating experience, deep knowledge of ecommerce platforms, and an orientation toward using online acquisition and retention techniques to accelerate revenue growth.   

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Collaborate effectively with the executive team, marketing, product, sales, and technical teams to optimize and manage our online ordering capabilities  
  • Lead ecommerce operations and the day-to-day relationship with the merchant of record vendors to ensure we have the tools and functionality needed to enable a growing ecommerce business  
  • Help to define the ecommerce platform strategy, drive the implementation of core online ordering improvements by prioritizing and managing the project backlog with our cart vendors and internal business partners   
  • Collaborate with grow leaders and the product team to build revenue optimization plans by key products, to understand customer segments, online opportunities to reach these customers, and specific product functionality, including in-product commerce  
  • Partner closely with business applications, product, and web development on the technology roadmap, technical priorities, and day-to-day operations of the shopping carts and online ecosystem  
  • Assess and improve existing architecture, operational flows, data sets, and supporting operating procedures to ensure reliability and consistent access to ecommerce data for business intelligence and analytics   
  • Work closely with our ecommerce platform vendors to ensure that Malwarebytes is leveraging ecommerce best practices and technologies as soon as possible  
  • Maintain current perspectives with developing and emerging ecommerce operations and system management tools  
  • Create and implement actions plans that improve operational processes and promote a culture of continuous improvement and communication across functional groups engaged in the ecommerce ecosystem  

 

Skills You’ll Need to Have: 

  • 10+ years of applied experience in ecommerce management, online sales, customer service management, or related fields  
  • 7+ years in a subscription software business (product, marketing, sales ops) role   
  • 5+ years of experience in an operations leadership role  
  • Proven expertise in SaaS, recurring revenue, subscription management acquisition and retention  
  • Fluency and competence in ecommerce systems, needs, supporting processes and analytical tools  
  • Communication and presentation skills with proven track record of using insights to influence executives and colleagues   
  • Excellent analytical abilities with web performance numbers, sales trends, user experience with the ability to suggest changes and enact improvements to drive and sustain growth  
  • An effective communicator who can have nuanced, eye-level conversations with marketing and product leadership, data scientists, sales teams and technologists  
  • International business experience, either in a global role or having worked internationally, ideally in an ecommerce or related sales or marketing role   
  • An ability to engage in conversations that may become detailed or technical  
  • Experience with ecommerce digital goods and subscription sales is preferred
