Job Description

You should be heavily motivated by the product and experienced in Software development and testing, DevOps activities and, Cloud Native stacks. Inside the Nexthink Engineering department, the team you will be joining we call Analysis and Search: We are providing a search tool for our clients overall available data, UI editors for our NQL language and UI tools to perform manipulations with results or NQL language itself. Moreover, our API is available to other internal teams. As an Analysis and Search Quality Engineer you will help us in industrializing the release pipeline by continuing our automation project and tooling to help us switch to BDD process fully.  You will lead this initiative and with time represent our team by working closely with the Quality Lead, the QA community and with other cloud platform teams on a daily basis to build and improve our automation solutions.

Main functions

• Manage and improve the testing automation setup, i.e., Docker images, automation scripts, Kubernetes setup.
• Collaborate with developers and software engineers in tests on how to improve the test suites and framework for unit, integration, functional, and stress testing.
• Expand our scope of test automation to cover performance, load, security, etc.
• Collaborate with software engineers in tests on writing E2E automation scripts and maintaining them.
• Collaborate closely with the delivery team on our CI/CD projects.

Qualifications

• +5 years of experience in software development / QA.
• Proven experience coding in JavaScript.
• Knowledge of Behavior driven testing with Cypress and Cucumber (Gherkin language)
• Experience with the development of automated test suites including unit, integration, performance, security, and functional testing.
• Proven experience in working with CI tools like Jenkins and ArgoCD.
• Experience working with distributed systems, microservices highly desired.
• Problem-solving and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Docker.
• Proficiency in English.
   

Valued optional experience

• Experience working with tools like Selenium, Puppeteer.
• Experience with public cloud providers (e.g. AWS, Azure).
• Experience using test frameworks like Gatling, JUnit.
• Experience with Kubernetes.
• Experience with configuration management systems like Terraform / Ansible.
