The Financial Crime Operations Team

The Financial Crime Operations Team executes processes to mitigate financial crime risks to Modulr relating to Money Laundering/Terrorist Financing, Sanctions, Fraud and Anti-bribery & Corruption.  This role is focussed on supporting improvements in data analysis and reporting for each area of the compliance team.

As we are a small team, this is a hands-on role; you will need to be comfortable handling complex queries and using your own initiative to solve problems and drive continuous improvements in the team’s processes.

Technology used will be SQL, DOMO(Data Visualisation) and Python

Who you are:

What you’ll do:

  • Provide insight analysis on the scope of potential risks.
  • Develop and Mature current MI and reporting for both the regulator(s) and the board.
  • Creating and maintaining reporting Dashboards
  • Drive continuous improvement across the teams
  • Providing Compliance advice to the internal development teams

Skills and experience we are interested in:

  • You have a background in Financial Crime, with a sound knowledge of regulatory requirements
  • Strong awareness of current Financial Crime Trends
  • Experience within Data Analytics in a Financial institution. Preferably within a Financial Crime team.
  • Experience with SQL and Data Visualisation Software. We do utilise some Python Automation so knowledge of this would be a plus.
  • Ability to work quickly and prioritise tasks effectively.
