Management Accountant

Redsift is dynamic, exciting, and forward-thinking company. You’ll be part of an amazing team working for a SME at a time of great expansion. The role will be varied, ranging from standard accounting routines through to involvement in commercial projects, system reviews and implementation, as well as presenting financial information across the departments and to senior management.
What you can expect
Support preparation of monthly management accounts (including consolidations and subsidiary accounts).
Analyse monthly management information in relation to the company’s performance against the budgets
Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company, such as payroll, expenses, cashflow, invoicing, and other transactions.
Supporting back-office services such as accounts payable, intercompany reconciliations, payroll and calculation of commissions
Review financial data and prepare monthly and annual reports in line to meet the time schedule within the business
Contribute to the ongoing development of the company ERP systems and maintain financial policies and procedures for the company
Ensure the business meets all its statutory and compliance obligations, including Companies House and HMRC
Ensure compliance and best practice with all business software, e.g. ApprovalMax, Pleo, Xero, Dext, Cledara etc.
Establish and maintain relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Maintain professional knowledge by reviewing industry publications, establishing personal networks
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years’ experience working in a similar role, producing management accounts to trial balance, preferably in a technology business
Minimum Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA
Good analytical skills with a thorough approach to tackling issues and the ability work methodically
Ability to interpret and present financial information in an easy-to-understand format
Excellent presentation, planning and organisational skills
Proven ability to work under own initiative, deal with conflicting demands and meet tight deadlines
Solid communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to pick up news systems and process quickly
Intermediate knowledge of Excel (v-lookup, pivot tables)
Experience in dealing with multiple currencies on a day-to day basis
