IT Manager

Reporting to the Director IT, you will be responsible for the day to day management of the IT team. You will drive the technical output of the team and will work closely with them to ensure the delivery of key tasks and projects. 

You will ensure the delivery of systems and tools that will enable the sales-driven growth of our company while working with the Director IT on improving data-driven decision making across the organization through tool enablement. 

Your mission

• Managing, developing and growing our existing IT Team with approx. 8 FTE.   
• Technical coordination of the team’s tasks and workload 
• Driving the team’s performance and adherence to key SLAs and KPIs 
• Identifying optimizations and automations to further increase the team's effectiveness  
• Ensuring SoSafe is set up for success by managing the organization’s software and tooling requirements.   
• Working with the Director IT in developing and implementing IT policies, procedures and best practices, with a special focus on enabling a hybrid / remote work setting   
• Ensuring adequate team capacity, skills and knowledge to ensure the team plays its key part in helping enable SoSafe to reach its goals 
• Staying ahead of the latest IT trends and emerging technologies      
• Building great stakeholder relationships to ensure effective communication and cross team working 

Your profile

• 2+ years of experience with leadership and development of an IT department in a fast-growing environment   
• Additionally, 3+ years experience in IT related roles prior to the management role   
• Passionate about growing, developing and enabling team members 
• Experience in an international environment a plus   
• Bachelor's Degree or relevant work experience 
• Experience in establishing and implementing IT services frameworks and IT security policies    
• Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to recruit and manage IT staff members    
• A highly analytical mindset with superb problem-solving skills and good business acumen    
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills    
• Planning and project management skills  
• Highly pragmatic team player attitude with a “can-do-mentality”    
• Fluent (both spoken and written) in both English; German would be a plus
