IT Procurement Manager

Your mission

• You determine the demand for hardware, software, consulting and services, conduct market analyses, control the clarification of technical feasibility and develop solutions in conformity with the IT strategy. 
• You will conduct independent contract negotiations with national and international suppliers and coordinate the results with internal departments. 
• You review and renegotiate existing contracts and supplier relationships and establish long-term business relationships with new providers and suppliers 
• You develop strategies to reduce operating costs by achieving savings on the supply side and managing consumption on the demand side 
• You will identify specific procurement projects and associated resource requirements for the current fiscal year and participate in budget planning and management 
• You create license overviews and optimize license models and maintenance contracts in cooperation with our external partners 
• You assess requests for new licenses or tooling against already procured tools and look for alignment 
• You implement and optimize processes, standards and systems in the area of IT purchasing and participate in internal compliance audits 

Your profile

• You have a degree in business administration or comparable training with a corresponding focus on IT 
• You have demonstrable, sound and several years of experience in IT purchasing 
• You have strong assertiveness and negotiation skills as well as analytical competence 
• You are an ambitious personality with strong communication skills who approaches things proactively with an economic mindset and approach 
• You have an agile, analytical and structured way of working 
• You regularly demonstrate your ability to work in a team when collaborating with your colleagues and are also open for a (currently unfortunately only virtual) after-work drink 
• You are business fluent in English and ideally also German
