The Role

To ensure Plentific colleagues have a fantastic experience when onboarded and that all people related queries are dealt with in a timely, professional and efficient manner. This is initially a part-time position (20 hours per week) with a view to becoming a full-time role in line with our headcount growth.


Responsibilities

  • Ensure all colleagues are successfully onboarded, including full briefings on the handbook, policies and benefits - working with the Operations team to ensure emails and systems are set up
  • Keeping ADP and Bamboo HR up to date and accurate, including starters, onboarding, changes and leavers
  • Payroll administration, ensuring US colleagues are paid accurately and on time
  • Assist with Plentific’s performance management procedures
  • Confidential colleague and training documentation recorded, stored, and maintained in shared files and Bamboo HR
  • Ensuring compliance with internal approval and sign off procedures for starters, changes and leavers
  • HR administration support in respect of any Employee Relations issues
  • Responding to first line HR policy and questions
  • HR information and basic reporting requests
  • Ad-hoc requests for HR letters and documentation (references, data requests etc.)
  • Point of contact for all benefit administration in the US - ensuring benefits are administered correctly and any changes are communicated to colleague
  • Ensuring compliance training completion
  • Exit interviews (analysis and collating of data as and when required)
  • Ensuring right to work (visa and work permit) documents are recorded and kept up to date for all colleagues
  • Ad-hoc project support as required by the Senior People Manager, People Director and VP Sales.

Requirements

Skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Bamboo HR, including data sets, reporting and processes
  • Letter writing
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong prioritisation and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and activities simultaneously
  • Highly computer literate with capability in gmail, MS Office, Slack and related business and communication tools
  • Energy, drive and resilience who can work in an agile, fast paced environment. environment and respond quickly to business needs
  • Interpersonal intelligence, understanding, empathy, diplomacy, integrity, and discretion
Qualifications and experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related
  • Experience as a HR Coordinator
  • Exposure to Labor Law and employment equity regulations
  • Exposure to payroll practices, preferably ADP
  • Previous people operations and administration experience
  • Full understanding of HR functions and best practices
