The Creator Program is a one-of-a-kind project launched by Jellysmack just over 2 years ago to help video content creators build the hyper-engaged communities of their dreams across multiple social media platforms. The Creator Program is now currently home to over 300 of the world’s most influential Creators, including Mr. Beast, Brad Mondo, Bailey Sarian, Phil DeFranco, PewDiePie and Emmymade. Jellysmack optimizes, operates, and distributes creator-made video content to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, TikTok, Twitter, and YouTube.

More recently the company launched the Catalog Licensing Program, the first of several financial products for creators. This is the first major product line expansion for the company. In addition it expanded the Creator Program to support short form creators as well as launched a data driven production product for helping Creators scale..

We are looking for a VP of Strategic Accounts who can help take our sales teams to the next level.

In this role you will lead a new team focusing on our sales relationships for our most important clients. You will be responsible for obtaining and maintaining long term key customers by comprehending their requirements and providing solutions from our portfolio. In addition you will be responsible for maintaining agency and management company relationships to ensure we have to tier access to their most important clients.

Requirements

  • Leading, expanding, and mentoring the Strategic Account team by setting the strategy and achieving sales targets for our top clients.
  • Establish cadence, processes and systems to manage the strategic relationships to drive opportunities to revenue. Monitor key accounts sales performance metrics and facilitate timely action to ensure achievement of goals.
  • Identify new “enterprise” level creator leads and contacting prospective key creators to build revenue driving relationships.
  • Architecting the Strategic Account organization and solutions to leverage and scale in support of our revenue ambitions. Recommending and implementing improvements to the management of key creator relationships.
  • Hiring, training, and developing a world-class team.
  • Set high standards for articulation and presentation of key messages while promoting JellySmacks value proposition to prospective customers within a highly competitive market
  • Drive critical recordkeeping, as well as preparing sales forecasts and reports.
  • Learn from best practices in industry and identify opportunities for continuous improvement including tools and systems critical to scaling a customer centric culture.
  • Partner with Revenue Ops, Marketing, Product, and Success teams to drive company-wide customer feedback loop around new product needs.

Required Experience/Skills:

  • 10+ years demonstrated progressive experience in a talent facing sales leadership role with a track record of landing marquee clients and exceeding goals.
  • Strong empathy for customers AND passion for revenue and growth
  • Rolodex of the world’s top creators, agencies and management firms.
  • Ability to roll up your sleeves, experience personally closing deals (i.e. not managing from an ivory tower).
  • Relevant Bachelor’s degree.
  • Ability to manage influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
  • Analytical and process-oriented mindset. Background in building repeatable sales processes.
  • Demonstrated desire for continuous learning and improvement.
  • A track record of developing and mentoring great talent, and building and motivating high achieving teams.
