Production Accountant

The Finance team is the backbone of Jellysmack. We keep everything running smoothly through effective accounting, payroll and financial controlling. No one here is a stereotypical accountant: we are fun, outgoing and laid back.
Jellysmack is seeking a highly motivated and organized Production Finance Manager to join our growing team.
Requirements
- Review and approve weekly production payroll timecards and backup for freelancers across multiple projects and states
- Help establish and maintain policies to ensure completeness and accuracy of financials
- Assist with processing of production related invoices, T&E reimbursements, and credit card spend
- Record journal entries in the general ledger for all production related expenses each month
- Prepare balance sheets reconciliations for production related accounts
- Collaborate with FP&A, Accounting, and Production as needed to ensure accurate reporting
- Assist with ad-hoc reporting requirements
A Little About Yourself:
- You have a bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in production finance or related field
- You have strong collaboration skills and an impeccable eye for detail
- You are are a great multi-tasker with excellent judgment and the ability to prioritize as necessary to effectively meet deadlines
