In this role you are the owner of social media marketing at EGYM and implement a global social media strategy that tells our brand story. Sounds interesting? Then apply now! - You serve as the owner and administrator of EGYM’s social media channels, which span various countries/languages across the globe and act as interface between regional and global teams
- You define, implement, and manage opportunistic and effective social media strategies (organic and paid campaigns) including the development of compelling and effective content
- You propose and manage the budget to be spent on paid social media efforts
- You track and report on social media channel performance, conduct A/B tests, and use this data to proactively recommend optimization opportunities and inform future campaigns
- You build and maintain an online community of EGYM fans and followers including social listening and community management
Your fitness level
- You are fluent in English (Fluency in German is a plus, but not required)
- You have a minimum of 4 years experience managing social media strategies, channels, and campaigns, preferably on a global scale and are up-to-date on the latest social media trends
- You are a strong and creative writer (including SEO and keyword knowledge), particularly for short-form content (bonus if you have fitness, or related, industry experience)
- You are a performance-driven marketer with passion and drive in testing, failing fast, and learning from mistakes
- You have baseline knowledge and understanding of social listening best practices and can manage listening requests from team members around the world
Your training goal for your first 6 months
- You own and drive a strategic social media optimization project in which we will be consolidating our international social media channels to simplify the user experience and reduce management complexity
- You help to select and implement a new social media management tool
- You craft and launch at least one campaign in support of an active Global Marketing campaign
- You are familiar with our tools, processes, and agreements and are the go-to resource for social media questions/concerns
