What You’ll Do at Cobalt

    • Execute Cobalt’s SOC2 Type 2 policy controls and prepare Cobalt for future security certifications
    • Deploy and maintain Cobalt's vulnerability scanning and intrusion detection systems
    • Identify vulnerabilities and deploy patches within SLA
    • Harden Cobalt internal systems against real-world vulnerabilities
    • Manage access-control systems and build towards a zero-trust network model
    • Develop a strategy for and remediate weaknesses within Cobalt's cloud architecture
    • Support sales in answering cyber and physical security questions
    • Design a security training program for all employees

You Are

    • Proficient with Bash/Python
    • Proficient with Linux-like systems
    • Experienced with vulnerability scanning and intrusion detection systems
    • Previously worked in an environment with security compliance requirements (i.e. SOC2, ISO27001, etc)
    • Intense attention to detail and able to enforce security policies
    • Eager to collaborate with, mentor, and learn from your peers
    • Someone who loves diving into many different areas
    • 4+ years of industry experience

Bonus Skills

    • Experience with complex network architecture
    • Experience working in a fast paced startup environment
    • Experience with physical security systems
    • Experience with Docker
    • Experience with AWS cloud architecture
    • Experience with orchestration and configuration languages like Terraform and Ansible
