As ActiveFence's Director of Product Marketing, you will create powerful and compelling messaging, content, and collateral that drives awareness educates about ActiveFence, and fuels the adoption of our Trust & Safety platform and services. Bring your creativity, imagination and energy to this role. As a member of the Product Marketing team, engage cross-functionally with our marketing, management, and sales teams to help design, plan and execute the go-to-market strategy that drives measurable success. This will include content development and building differentiated messaging to increase awareness and demand. This role will also engage with ActiveFence channel resources to ensure that the teams are all enabled to deliver a consistently powerful message to the market.

Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with a distributed/global team takes ownership of the product marketing activities and you will feel comfortable presenting to both technical and business decision-makers. A creative mindset and an eye for quality are crucial, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities into simple, compelling messages

Responsibilities:

  • Create compelling, differentiated messaging and positioning, with a clear understanding of the target customer and the core capabilities of the offering.
  • Work closely with US sales and SE teams to develop product key messaging, and value proposition
  • Drive analyst engagement, reports, and briefings.
  • Ability to message and position SaaS and Services offerings
  • Designing and expanding buyer personas and ICPs
  • Develop and keep fresh content including collateral, thought leadership and solution presentations, website content, and videos, and more to execute communication strategies and accelerate the buyer’s journey.
  • Work with Content Marketing to help drive content and initiatives
  • Position our sales and channel organizations to win through effective sales enablement tools and initiatives.   
  • Assist with the planning and launch of new offerings, capabilities and releases and participate in managing the cross-functional implementation of those plans.
  • Stay abreast of industry news and events, industry analyst reports and social activity. Leverage these to educate key constituents and to drive awareness and demand generation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience with B2B Product Marketing (cybersecurity or trust & safety preferred)
  • Strong technology background 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Demonstrated excellence in product and market messaging
  • Ability to work both independently and across functional teams
  • Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization, including remote areas
  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with competing priorities
  • Experience in PowerPoint/Slides, Word/Docs, and spreadsheets
  • Comfortable working with C-level stakeholders
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable giving and receiving feedback
  • Team-player 
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task several projects at once
  • Experiences in digital marketing, such as email marketing, inbound marketing, paid campaigns, and brand marketing 
  • Based in the United States. SF Bay area is preferred, but not required

The salary range for this role is 190,000-220,000 / year + Benefits - Range may vary based on experience.
