We’re looking for a Head of Data Science & Analytics, an influential leader for our EMEA Analytics team. Your future team produces industry leading machine learning models and decision systems whose actions protect hundreds of millions of cardholders and accountholders from fraud and financial crime every day.

You’ll lead a supportive group that thrive on improving day by day, who are empowered to produce the best outcomes for our customers and motivated by the opportunity to explore some of the richest datasets in financial services. As Featurespace continues to grow worldwide, this position will see you significantly expand the high-performing EMEA Analytics team during an exciting period of expansion in the region. Away from leading the team and managing customer delivery work, you’ll guide new commercial opportunities towards signature and contribute valuable insight towards the next generation of our fraud and financial crime prevention products.

You will have proven experience building then deploying machine-learning models and complex data driven systems in business-critical contexts, and are therefore well versed in the software engineering and ML Ops practices required to achieve this at scale. Beyond the technology, we’re looking for someone who is comfortable consulting directly with customers to shape their problems into defined solutions and can effectively lead and manage a team of managers and individual contributors.

This role can be based in either our Cambridge or London UK offices. This is a hybrid role so you will ideally be comfortable coming into the office at least once a week. If you’re interested in the role but require more flexibility, please speak to us!
