As Lead Data Analyst Companies, you will be joining JobTeaser's Data team, and report to Pierre, our Head of Data.

The Data team is composed of 20 highly talented people (Data Analysts, Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Data Scientists, Researchers, ...), and mainly acts on the 3 following missions::
  • Provide analytics expertise to support internal decision making and provide insights to our university partners and company clients: this includes designing the right metrics to follow our activity, assess the performance of our product features, monitor the performance of our acquisition campaigns, ... and so much more ! We perform advanced analysis and build best-in-class data products (internal reports, embed analytics) that will help every team activate their data, make informed decisions, and fuel client and user satisfaction.
  • Democratize access to data inside the company, so everyone (Product Managers, Marketing people, Sales, Operations, C-Level, etc.) can easily and autonomously access the data they need, without depending too much on the Data team.
  • Develop algorithms to improve our users' journey and help them find the best career path, explore the jobs and inspirational contents available on the platform, and match with the companies that match their aspirations and skills.

As Lead Data Analyst Companies, you will lead the B2B Corporate Analytics team, partnering with the following teams to steer the supply side of our business:
  • Product Managers (PM) and Product Marketing Managers (PMM) from the Sourcing and Employer Branding squads
  • Account Managers (mainly) and Business Developers (more occasionally) from our 4 geographies (France, Germany, Nordics, Rest of Europe)
  • Marketing people from the B2B Marketing team

Along with these business partners, you will take part in retaining and growing our company client base in our 4 geographies, and ensuring a good level of liquidity in our marketplace. You will both manage your team (40%) and directly contribute to projects (60%), in a servant leadership mindset.

Your mission, if you accept it:
  • Manage your team
    • Manage and grow your team, composed, as of now, of 1 data analyst and 1 BI analyst
    • Hire the best talents for your team
    • Structure processes and best practices to make sure your team works in a fast and impactful manner
    • Liaise with the Data Platform team to prioritize data collection and/or tooling needs
  • Provide analytics expertise
    • Own your business scope: keep a constant eye on the critical metrics, raise alert to business partners, provide analytical support to understand business dynamics
    • Collaboratively build the roadmap of your team with business partners, using your informed sense of business and priorities
    • Share insights and recommendations with business partners, including C-Levels, to help them improve our product and make the right business decisions
  • Autonomize your business partners
    • Hand in hand with the Analytics Engineer, design and maintain data models in dbt, and make sure they are well-governed and documented in Notion
    • Provide onboarding and training material to your business partners on our BI and analytics tools: Tableau dashboards, Superset, Amplitude

Examples of projects your team will work on:
  • Analyze supply-demand liquidity on the platform to make informed decisions on job ad supply strategy;
  • Carry out analyses for product managers to help them improve our clients' experience on the platform (job ad creation funnel, experience with Shortlist, our active sourcing product, etc.) and maximize student interactions on our monetizable products;
  • Build best-in-class embed analytics reports in our company clients' back-office to help them assess JobTeaser's added value in terms of recruitment and employer branding;
  • Help Account Managers manage their client portfolios and boost pack consumption;
  • Provide insights to help Product Marketing Managers and Sales pitch our products.


Qualifications

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in data analytics or as a data consultant, with strong analytical skills
  • You have a first experience of management, preferably as a Lead Data Analyst
  • You have a result-driven and impact-oriented mindset. You are pragmatic, starting by the problem, and you having an iterative approach to build solutions
  • You have experience in managing complex cross-functional projects, involving multiple stakeholders from various teams
  • SQL has no more secrets for you, and you master at least 1 data visualization tool
  • Experience with Modern Data Stack tools (dbt, Amplitude) is a strong plus
  • Experience with python is a plus
  • You have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken; you can adapt your speech to a variety of technical and non-technical audiences
  • Fluency in English
